Now in their fifth year, the awards commend asset management companies that have successfully incorporated environmental, social and corporate governance guidelines into their investment decisions.

Originally focused on climate change, the ESG awards have broadened in scope to cover wider environmental, ethical and corporate governance criteria , as well as social impact investing.

The awards highlight the strength and depth of PAM’s ESG investment offering.

Funds from PAM’s environmental range were short-listed in four of the five single fund award categories. The Pictet-Water fund was named Best Water, Food, Agriculture & Forestry Fund. Pictet-Clean Energy was highly commended in the Best Clean Energy Fund category.

The judging panel marked entrants against a range of criteria including performance, investment management, communication, reputation and compliance, drawing on a mixture of qualitative and quantitative analysis.

The awards are aimed at fund managers, institutions and companies investing in these sectors, and whose work promotes a greater understanding of the potential for investing in environment, ethical and social themes.
