European states are slowly starting to plan in a return to normality, and some long-term trends are changing accordingly. Investors largely welcomed the vast fiscal and monetary packages to stave off the pandemic’s economic repercussions.

Still, we cannot help but wonder whether Europe has done enough to successfully lead its markets through this crisis. From a corporate side, Q1 results were less negative than expected, but we will have to wait until Q2 to see the full impact of the lockdowns.
To deal with this upcoming uncertainty, and ensure consistent results no matter the market conditions, our Europe/Euroland strategies focus primarily on quality companies with promising prospects of structural growth.
