Tightening in tougher conditions was the title of our last Central bank watcher and conditions have been tough, even tougher than we expected.

Momentum has declined somewhat in the real economy, but market sentiment has been hurt badly.

  • ECB: how long will it remain on this tightening path?
  • Fed: in denial
  • PBoC: more stimulus needed
  • BoJ: no changes priced in
